1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of SpacedWords. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Age and account

You must be at least 14 years old to use SpacedWords independently in Spain. You are responsible for protecting access to your account and notifying us of any unauthorised use.

You can sign out or permanently delete your account and its associated data from Profile.

3. Educational service and artificial intelligence

SpacedWords provides vocabulary learning, spaced repetition, speaking practice, and educational feedback. It does not guarantee a particular level, certification, employment opportunity, or other outcome.

Some optional features use DeepSeek and Groq after identifying those providers and requesting permission. You can withdraw permission from Profile and continue using features that do not require AI. Generated content may contain errors or unexpected results; scores are for guidance only and are not official academic, professional, or employment assessments.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the app unlawfully, fraudulently, or abusively;
• gain unauthorised access or bypass quotas or security measures;
• introduce malware, automate abuse, or extract content in bulk;
• resell access to the app or its AI providers;
• infringe third-party rights or submit another person's personal data without a lawful basis.

5. Intellectual property

The app, brand, design, and original content belong to Luis Enrique Rodrigues Peña or are used under licence. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to use the app.

You retain any rights you hold in the content you submit and authorise its processing only to provide and protect the service. SpacedWords does not train its own models using your answers.

6. Availability and liability

The service depends on external providers and may experience interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made in exclusive reliance on educational or AI-generated content.

7. Termination, changes, and governing law

We may suspend accounts for serious breaches, fraud, or security risks. We will notify you of material changes and request renewed acceptance where required by law.

Spanish law applies without depriving you of mandatory protections under the law of the EU country where you live.

8. Support and complaints

You may submit enquiries or complaints to support@spacedwords.com. We will aim to respond within a reasonable period. You may also contact the appropriate consumer authorities or courts under applicable law.
